Attrition Biography

Attrition was formed in 1980 at Coventry by Martin Bowes. Over the years the band has undergone a number of changes with various vocalists, but  under Martin’s continuing leadership and creative vision, they retained a cutting and experimental edge.  Attrition emerged from the post punk experimental period of the early eighties, essentially beginning life as an electronic music band.  This was really at the cutting edge of what would come to be described as dark wave and industrial, a genre that the band are still moving forward almost thirty years on.

Attrition regularly release albums and tour particularly in America where their performances attract great attention. The band founded their own label, Two Gods, in 2006 and continues to release new material and reissue the large back catalogue.
