Flavor Flav is universally known as a rapper and one of the leading lights of the nineties Rap group ‘Public Enemy’. Always at the cutting edge of Rap, and massively successful , Public Enemy recorded and released many commercially successful albums and also played to big audiences making them the premier Rap group of the era.

Following the extended break taken by the band in the mid to late nineties, the various members all pursued solo paths. Flavor Flav, continued in the music business and also branched out into television appearing in a number of high profile programmes for MTV.
