Paula Knight - Wonder
This is my description text 1. It can support html.

Paula Knight is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter from Dundee, currently residing in Stirling. Her debut album, Wonder, has been professionally recorded and remixed, featuring 11 self-penned compositions played by Paula on guitars, keys and vocals, with Don Graham on bass and Harvey Chamberlain on drums. Chiefly influenced by Alanis Morissette, Kate Bush and Rush, her songs are a consummate mix of timeless quality rock and commercially memorable adult pop, In various incarnations, the Paula Knight Band has been gigging mainly through Dundee, Glasgow and all points in between, as well as solo Paula Knight performances in between band dates. Currently forming a new trio to promote and perform the songs on the album, Paula Knight will be playing a string of dates from September to the end of the year.

WHAT THE PRESS HAVE SAID:
Heather Crumley from Scotcampus:
'Expertly treading the line between pop and rock, Glasgow- based Paula Knight is a breath of fresh air compared to female singer-songwriters like Sandi Thom et al, providing the perfect antidote to their saccharine sounds. Fierce guitars, often intriguing, biting lyrics and a voice that ranges from melodic and thoughtful to full on howling rock chick, as shown on the cathartic ' lady of Rage' she has a sound that demands you sit up and pay attention.'

Blues Bunny Live Review:
The band launched into "Messin' About", a fast-paced tune which allowed Paula to demonstrate her knowledge of the fret board.... Paula is a pleasant change.... This absence of classification may confuse people, but the smart ones will use their ears instead.... Paula's songs are undeniably catchy. Paula has a great voice, which compliments... her current crop of songs nicely. A school teacher by day, Paula isn't the most likely "rawk" heroine. That said, didn't KT Tunstall begin her musical career as a busker?
